Geoff Evans

After taking an early retirement at 58 with over 25 years of IT experience in designing and managing complex Local Authority computer environments I would like to bring my experience to a more diverse audience. I wish to continue to make use of my skills for IT strategy development, infrastructure reviews, tender evaluation and other short-term assignments. I am not looking to restart my career with a new employer but would be delighted to develop long term ad-hoc relationships across the IT arena. I believe I can offer excellent technical skills along with personal characteristics of integrity and dedication to any employer.

From my experience I know that internal knowledge can often be focused on the management of the current environment. I would like to offer my skills to broaden internal expertise, when required, to independently evaluate industry trends and supplier proposals and ensure that new technological opportunities and strategies are appropriately and effectively adopted.
